Additional Event Details
Join us at the Mt. Shasta Library on Tuesday, September 9th from 6-8pm for an evening of learning about the Roadless Rule and taking action for its public comment period! On August 19th, the Draft Environmental Impact Statement was released for rescinding this Roadless Rule. The public now has until midnight on September 21st to comment on this proposed recision. Without the Roadless Rule in place, 45 million acres across the nation are at threat for losing all current protections from logging, road-building and other resource extraction activities. This workshop will cover steps on how to submit a comment and tips for making them effective. If you need a translator for this event, please let us know. Si necesita un traductor para este evento, háganoslo saber.

Please bring:  A computer if you would like to bring your own, we will have some computers available to submit comments at the event as well.
Thank you to the Mount Shasta Library for providing the space for this workshop.
